The International Council on Social Welfare (ICSW) officially launched its Global Situation Report 2026, Navigating Contemporary Dilemmas in Social Policy and Social Development, during a roundtable discussion held at the Joint World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Report represents a major collective achievement of the ICSW global network. It draws on analytical contributions prepared by ICSW regional members in response to a comprehensive questionnaire circulated by the Global Office, providing a broad evidence-based assessment of the key challenges and emerging trends shaping social policy and social development across different regions of the world.
