Joint World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development 2018

The Joint World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development 2018, under the theme “Environmental and Community Sustainability: Human Solutions in Evolving Society” will be held from July 4 to July 7 2018, at the Royal Dublin Society convention and exhibition center in Dublin, Ireland. Hosted internationally by the International Association of Schools of Social Work, International Council on Social Welfare, and International Federation of Social Workers; and hosted locally by the Irish Association of Social Workers (IASW), The School of Social Work and Social Policy, Trinity College Dublin (TCD), The School of Social Work, Social Policy and Social Justice, University College Dublin (UCD), The School of Applied Social Studies, University College Cork (UCC), European Anti-Poverty Network Ireland (EAPN-I), and MCI Dublin.

The Conference is the opportunity to bring together social work and social development practitioners, academics, key decision makers and civil society to address issues central to the mission of the key stakeholders. The Conference is a world conference with the plenary and symposium sessions concentrating on the third theme of the Global Agenda of the three partner organizations. It is agreed that the Conference will be composed of plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, poster sessions, field visits, and social events.
